Instill vigor in your Encore® Azaleas by pruning and fertilizing in late spring after the first bloom, ensuring a strong return in the summer and fall. These hardy plants thrive in zones 6b-10b and prefer well-drained, moderately moist conditions.

Autumn Fire® Red | Rhododendron 'Robleza' PPAF

The Autumn Fire Encore Azalea is a compact plant with vibrant red blooms and ruffled layers. At only 2-3 feet in height and width, it is suitable for both container gardening and smaller landscapes. Its foliage remains in the winter and turns a deep purple hue. This variety is non-fragrant, making it a great choice for those with allergies, regardless of age or experience with gardening.

Planting and Care:

Autumn Fire thrives in zones 6-10 and benefits from full sun to light shade. It favors acidic, well-drained soil and is drought resistant once established. Mulch aids in reducing watering requirements by ensuring moisture retention and keeping the roots cool. Pruning should take place after the spring blooms have faded in order to promote new growth.

Autumn Embers® Red | Rhododendron 'Conleb' PP10581

This stunning azalea has lush, semi-evergreen foliage that stays a rich green year-round. During its extensive blooming season, from spring to fall, 'Starlight' showcases delicate, soft pink flowers adorned with dark pink freckles.
