GrowTime Garden Supply is a family-owned garden center in Jefferson City, Missouri, helping people grow food, raise animals, make their own goods, and preserve the harvest.

Our Story

Our roots go back to 2015, when the Dahl family established Dahl Family Farms, LLC to sustainably raise meat and produce. What began as a dream to be fully self-sufficient grew into something bigger: a desire to share what we'd learned with our community. In 2023, doing business as GrowTime Garden Supply, we opened our doors to connect customers with grow supplies, indoor growing systems, nutrients, seeds, provisions, and hands-on education about sustainable living. Today we operate a 4,000-square-foot store on Missouri Boulevard, and we're still growing.

Those four words are how we think about self-sufficiency, and they shape everything we carry:

• Grow — seeds, soil and growing media, nutrients, hydroponic and indoor grow systems, lighting, live plants, and gardening tools.
• Raise — poultry supplies, incubators and hatching equipment, and homesteading essentials.
• Make — supplies for brewing, extraction, and crafting your own provisions.
• Preserve — canning, fermentation, and food-storage gear to make your harvest last.
