The Amethyst Falls American Wisteria is a stunning plant, with its vibrant green leaves and cascading lavender flowers that resemble grapes on its twisting vines. It makes a fantastic climber along fences and arbors, adding a touch of elegance to any outdoor space. Unlike its Asian counterparts, it grows at a slower pace, reaching up to 20 feet in a single season, giving you ample time to train it to your desired shape. You can even train it to grow into a beautiful tree, with graceful, weeping leaves and flowers that bloom each spring. On top of its beauty, the wisteria's fragrant blooms also attract butterflies and hummingbirds, while its deer-resistant nature helps protect it from pests. Just be sure to provide support and training as it grows, and water it regularly when the top two inches of soil are dry.
