This cardboard nuc box securely fits five deep frames and has a perforated bottom entrance flap. The cardboard comes treated to resist water, increasing the durability of the box. It is, however, recommended that you prevent your nuc box from getting wet as much as possible.

The mesh on the lid allows for ventilation inside the nuc during transport.

This is a very economical & lightweight alternative to wooden nuc boxes for making splits and transporting nucleus colonies or swarms.
