Initially, I was granted a patent for the method of hand filleting, which involved discarding the rind and utilizing only the fillet. However, after 38 years, it was discovered that a significant portion of the active components in the aloe vera plant were discarded with the rind. In 1962, I developed and patented the whole leaf method to stabilize the gel. Clinical studies have shown that this process surpasses the hand filleting approach.
In 1984, I obtained a third patent for processing aloe vera to create a product that stimulates plant growth by employing a different method of processing the leaves. It is important to note that this whole leaf aloe vera product is not suitable for oral consumption; it is exclusively for plants.
